110 local and international companies take part in 1st “DAHAB EXPO” For Clothing and Shoes Exhibition

With the participation of 110 local and international companies, the first edition of “DAHAB EXPO” for Clothing, Shoes and Leathers -Spring-Summer 2024- (Shaaban Al-Khair Exhibition), kicked off yesterday evening on the grounds of the New Exhibition City in Damascus.

The event was organized by Mashhadani International Group for Exhibitions and Conferences, in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry.

Minister of Industry Abdulkader Jokhdar said that the exhibition is an opportunity for industrialists to showcase their products and the latest achievements in the field of clothing, leather and footwear industry with a wide variety of products, stressing the government’s interest in providing all possible support to industrialists in securing production requirements and export their products.

Khalaf Mashhadani, director of the organizing group of the exhibition, pointed out that the exhibition brings together a wide range of designers and famous brands in the field of clothing, shoes and leather, with Arab participants in the exhibition fron the United Arab Emirates, Oman and visitors from other Arab countries. He highlighted the group’s keenness to provide all possibilities to support the participants in the exhibition and the industry in general.

For his part, the director of the General Organization for Exhibitions and International Markets, Halim Al-Akhras, explained that the exhibitions Foundation encourages the holding of specialized exhibitions for the benefit of all parties, including producers, traders and consumers, which reflects positively on the national economy.

Member of the Board of Directors of the Regional Office for Productive Families and Craft and Traditional Industries Mohammed Al-Buchi noted that a number of business delegations from several Arab countries including Iraq, Jordan, Libya and others visited the exhibition to conclude export deals with participants.

The exhibition will run until 11 this month. It includes fashion shows for all participating brands and design houses.
