11 US-backed SDF’s militants killed and injured in fire shooting by unidentified persons

HASAKA, (ST)- 11 members of the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), a US-backed Kurdish militia, were killed and injured when unidentified persons opened fire at them inside al-Hawl camp in the south of the Syrian city of Hasaka.

SANA reporter cited local sources as saying that last night an SDF group was exposed to the gunfire of unknown persons inside al-Hawl camp for the displaced where residents have been suffering from a deteriorating humanitarian situation caused by the sharp shortage of water, food and health care. The fire shooting caused the death of three SDF militants and the injury of eight others.

Over the past five years, Washington, with the help of US-backed terrorist groups, has been holding tens of thousands of displaced Syrians in al-Rukban camp in al-Tanf area and in al-Hawl camp east of al-Hasaka within very tragic conditions that may lead to a humanitarian catastrophe due to sharp shortage of food, drinking water and medicine.
