1000 Palestinian prisoners start open hunger strike next Thursday

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, (ST)- As part of their struggle against the Israeli occupation, 1000 Palestinian prisoners will start an open hunger strike next Thursday.

The Supreme National Emergency Committee of the captive movement announced in a statement issued on Tuesday that a thousand prisoners “as a first batch” will start an open-ended hunger strike to reject the continuous crimes of the occupation against them.

The committee confirmed that the prisoners are fighting together in one battle against the jailer and that they will accept nothing except victory.

It indicated that the pictures of the heroic prisoner Khalil Al-Awawda, who has been on a hunger strike since171 days ago, pose evidence of the arrogance and brutality of the occupation and the greatest evidence of the determination of the Palestinian prisoners to obtain their rights.
