100 local, Arab and international mass media outlets covered the conference on refugees’ return

Damascus (ST): There was wide media coverage to follow up the activities of the International Conference on the Return of the Refugees as more than 300 journalists and cameramen representing 100 local, Arab and international mass media attended the conference benefitting from the facilitations offered by the ministry of information through a media Centre that offered all required services.

According to the foreign media department at the ministry of information, 100 mass media representing local media, electronic outlets, radios covered the conference activities in addition to 70 journalists who attended with the Russian, Chinese, Armenian, Vietnamese and Filipino delegations.

Areej Moammad, from the department of electronic media at the Ministry of Information, clarified that the ministry in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affaires and Expatriates established an integrated media Centre equipped with up-to-date technological devices to facilitate the work of the coming journalists.

The participant journalists highlighted the importance of the conference and extended deep thanks for the facilitations offered by the Centre.
