Two days ago, Tishreen Park in Damascus witnessed a wonderful ceremony organized by the Nour Foundation for Relief and Development in cooperation with Adonia Music Band.
The ceremony entitled “the melody of life” included stage shows, Arab and world musical pieces and popular dances performed by around 100 girls and boys, according to the official news agency (SANA).
The agency indicated that one of the stage shows, which was performed by children from the ‘al-Majed Center’, explained the suffering of Syria’s children resulted from terrorism that hits the homeland.
It quoted the Head of the Board of Directors of Nour Foundation Mrs. YaraTouma as saying that the ceremony comes with the foundation’ activities that aim to show the talents of children before audience in order to develop them.
Mrs. Touma added that the foundation attracts families in Damascus countryside and works on disseminating art and culture among them.
Nour Foundation, which was founded in 2013, offers psychological and social support for children and young people and it plays a key role in empowering youth and woman and in disseminating awareness in the community.
