10 medals for Syria in the Arab Judo Championship

On March 26th, the Syrian judo team won 10 medals (3 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze) in the Arab Judo Championship for men, youth and women held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

The gold was won by Suleiman Al-Rifai in the men’s category, Majd Qadour in the youth category, and Leila Kanaan in the young women’s category.

The two silvers went to Moamen Mahfoud in the men’s category and Mustafa Nawlo in the youth category.

The five bronzes went to Hassan Bayan and Moayed Tabaa in the men’s category, and Muhammad Yunus and Ahmed Al-Qaed in the youth category.

The Syrian judo team won also won bronze in the men’s category.
