The second exhibition by Syrian plastic artist  Walid Ali was opened in Yantai city in  Shandong Province, China, under the title “A Step on the Silk Road from Damascus to China”.

The exhibition displayed  more than 100 art paintings  expressing the Syrian civilization and the deep Syrian-Chinese relations  through the Silk Road, which formed a strong link  between  the two civilizations.

 Artist Walid Ali  highly valued the historical ties between the two countries , noting that this exhibition is a continuation of what he presented in his  first exhibition last year.

The opening ceremony  was attended by senior officials  in the Chinese coastal province in Shandong Province ,  culture and tourism concerned sides ,  prominent  designers and artists, in addition to  members at  the International Industrial Design Conference currently held in Yantai City. 

The artist Ali’s  exhibition, which will continue until the 25th  next month, is the first Syrian participation in the International Industrial Design Conference, which includes the latest industrial technological inventions in the world.

It is noteworthy that the artist Walid Ali ‘s first exhibition was  held last year  under the title  "The First Step on the Silk Road"  in  Jin Ling Museum of Art in Nanjing.
