President Al-Assad receives Russian parliamentary delegation headed by Dmitry Sablin

DAMASCUS, Dec.21, (ST)-President Bashar Al-Assad received on Tuesday Russian Parliamentary delegation headed by Dmitry Sablin, the Chairman of the Russian-Syrian Friendship Committee and Deputy Chairman of Defense Committee at the Russian Duma. 
 
The talks between the two sides dealt with the importance of enhancing parliamentary relations and the role of the members of parliament in cementing the relations between the two countries in all fields, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA). 

President al-Assad to Arab Engineers: Dialogue between organizations and unions is a platform for discussing problems that Arab peoples suffer from

Damascus (ST): President Bashar al-Assad received today a delegation of the Union of Arab Engineers headed by Adel Al-Hadithi, Secretary-General of the Union.
 
 President al-Assad stressed the importance of dialogue between Arab organizations and unions as an opportunity to exchange ideas and professional and technical experiences, and a platform to discuss issues and problems that Arab peoples suffer from, and to propose solutions that can contribute to addressing them, considering that these organizations express the true pulse of Arab peoples and they play an important political and social role in achieving Arab popular cohesion.

President Bashar al-Assad issued on Thursday the 16th of December 2021 Law No. (33) establishing the National Commission for Quality and Accreditation in Higher Education.

President Al-Assad issues a decree to increase salaries and wages for civil and military workers by 30 percent

Damascus, (ST) -President Bashar Al-Assad issued today Legislative Decree No. 29 of 2021 to add 30 percent to the salaries and wages in force on the date of this decree for both civil and military workers.

President Al-Assad receives Russian Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights

DAMASCUS, DEC.15, (ST)- President Bashar Al-Assad received on Wednesday Maria Lvova Belova , the Russian Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights and the accompanying delegation. 
 
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the talks  dealt with children living  in Al-Hol and Al-Rouj camps, and the efforts being exerted by Syria and Russia to evacuate those children despite the obstacles put by western countries in this regard.
