Iraq Supports Peaceful Solution to Crisis in Syria- Al- Maliki

BAGHDAD , (ST)_ Iraq 's Prime Minister Nuri Al-Maliki stressed  that his country "stands with the will of the Syrian people and against foreign intervention, violence and supports  what was concluded  by the international community on the need to find a peaceful solutions and a way out of the long-lasted crisis in Syria."

In  a joint press conference with his Egyptian counterpart, Hisham Qandil , al- Maliki added that  Iraq and Egypt " need to join effort in order to prevent foreign interventions and find out solutions according to peaceful  ways, away from violence and the use of force," stressing that the sabotage and  the use of arms "will only implant  grudges and open the doors to foreign intervention. "

Al- Maliki noted the need to establish "a working Egyptian- Iraqi  group that acts  rationally to heal the situation , prevent interventions , find out peaceful solutions that meet people 's aspirations," considering  that "talk about support of moderation and peaceful solution to the problems in Syria is a manifestation of the  Egyptian and  Iraqi position."

"I think that everybody now looks  for a peaceful way to end the crisis in Syria." Al-Maliki added

For his part,  the Egyptian Prime Minister said  that it was agreed with the Iraqi side "with regard to Syrian affairs on the necessity and inevitability of halting the Syrian bloodshed  ,the importance of a political solution and non  foreign intervention."

Resistance is the Only Way to Liberate Palestine- Jalili

Tehran, (ST) _Secretary of the Supreme Council of the Iranian National Security Saeed Jalili  warned that enemies are seeking , through agitating internal differences within  the Islamic nation concerning  the crisis in Syria to disperse the capabilities of the Islamic world in backing resistance.

"Resistance for the sake of Palestine is the best for the unity of the Islamic world  and resistance is the  only way to liberate Palestine." Jalili stressed

During his meeting  with the  Palestinian Hamas official Moussa Abu Marzouk in Tehran The Iranian official also warned that all schemes  proposed in the context of the settlement  are  designed to prevent resistance forces from the Liberation of Palestine.

Thanks to the support offered by the resistance front, heroic victories were achieved  during the two Israeli aggression against Lebanon in 2001 and against Gaza in 2008, 2009 and 2012, respectively.


Palestinian Detainees Hold Hunger Strike to Protest Occupation Violations



Palestinian Minister of Detainees, Issa Qaraqe’, stated on Monday that “the Palestinian detainees in the Galboa’ Israeli prison, are holding a one- day hunger strike, as an initial step, part of activities in support of hunger striking detainees, and to protest the ongoing Israeli violations”, according to al-Manar Website.

IMEMC quoted Qaraqe’ as saying that “120 to 140 detainees in Galboa’ declared strike and returned their meals as part of further steps that also come in retaliation to the death of detainee Arafat Jaradat who was tortured to death.”

Qaraqe’ also pointed out that Israeli occupation forces broke into Section 11 of the Negev Detention Camp, and attacked several detainees there, while Israeli sources claimed an “Israeli officer was injured in the eye after being punched by a detainee when the army broke into Section 6 of the Negev Camp.”


More Iraqis killed in Terrorist Attacks

 KARBALA-IRAQ,( ST)_ One terrorist wearing  an explosive belt blew himself up on Sunday in  Karbala downtown,  resulted in wounding ten persons, at least.
The explosion was a result of a suicide bombing led to wounding ten persons, a brigadier in the Iraqi police told AFP, whereas a medical source at al-Hussein hospital  confirmed that 10 persons were admitted to Imam Hussein Shrine affiliated hospital.
On the other hand , an officer in the Iraqi army announced  the killing of two soldiers in a terrorist attack  on a checkpoint in the district in Tel Afar, west of Mosul, north of Baghdad and a doctor at Tel Afar hospital confirmed receiving  the bodies of the victims.

Four Iraqis, including one  soldier, were killed and 11 others wounded, including three policemen in separate  terrorist bombings in Iraq on Sunday.


Ahmed Shaheedˈs report undocumented: MP

An Iranian lawmaker said on Sunday that the report filed by Ahmed Shaheed, UN special rapporteure on the situation of human rights in Iran is ˈbiasedˈ and ˈundocumented, according to IRNA.

Ahmad Bakhshayesh who is a member of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iranˈs Majlis said that Ahmad Shaheesdˈs fourth report on Iran was released while its resources are "counter-revolutionary elements, opposition groups based in foreign countries and terrorist Mojahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) members".

He added that in his third report, just like in the past three ones, Ahmad Shaheed has raised fabricated issues about Iran and has used the situation of prisoners in Iran as a pretext to raise false allegations against Iran.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, as a unique democratic system in the world is a free, safe and popular country whose rightfulness is acknowledged by all nations, governments and even its enemies, he noted

He also said that such repeated reports on Iran which are led by the US are not accepted in any international circles.
