Zarif Bitterly Challenges Western Governments For unlawful Sanctions

Tehran – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif  in his letter to his counterparts bitterly challenged the western governments for unlawful sanctions on Iran, the foreign ministry media department said.

Zarif, an International Law professor at Iranian universities, said that the western governments have violated International Law by the sanctions and are pleased with applying the illegal act, because, they want to inflict heavier damage on Iranian economy.

Bahraini security forces have attacked anti-regime protesters in several villages as the ruling Al-Khalifa regime continues its crackdown on the opposition.

The Saudi-backed Bahraini forces attacked protesters in the village of Bouri, Karzakan and Sitra on Thursday.

Iraqi President Praises Iran Support For Anti-Terror Campaign

TEHRAN - Iraqi President Fouad Massoum thanked Tehran for its continued support for Baghdad in the ongoing war on the Takfiri terrorists, saying that Iran was the first country to rush to Baghdad's aid when ISIL attacked the Muslim nation. 

"Iran was the first country that backed up Iraq against the terrorists' invasion at a time when we needed possibilities to fight the terrorists," President Massoum said in a meeting with Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani in Baghdad on Wednesday.

President Rouhani Criticizes Western Governments For Blocking Iran Progress

Birjand, South Khorassan – President Hassan Rouhani on Wednesday criticized the western governments for blocking Iran progress. 

'No country on universe would attain development under sanctions. You can not creep into a corner, lock doors and say we wish to get self-sufficient. Self-sufficiency and self-reliance are very good but let's admit everything is not possible. No country can claim being fully self-sufficient because procurement of all needs is non-economical.'
