Iraqi airstrikes kill dozens of Takfiri Daesh terrorists

Iraqi fighter jets have carried out a series of airstrikes against Daesh Takfiri terrorists and their positions in various areas of the Arab country, killing scores of the militants.

In a Sunday statement, the Iraqi Defense Ministry said the warplanes targeted Daesh positions in the western province of Anbar.

The Iraqi jets also hit Daesh positions in the town of Dijla, located about 30 kilometers (18 miles) north of the capital, Baghdad as well as in the town of Baiji, in the northern Salahuddin Province.

“Eagles of the Iraqi air force from the Anbar, Dijla and Baiji operation units have destroyed several ISIS (Daesh) positions, killing many militants,” the statement said.

Clashes Reignite in Ayn Helwe Camp in Lebanon

BEIRUT - The Palestinian refugee camp of Ayn el Helwe in the Lebanese southern city of Sidon witnessed renewed fighting on Sunday morning between Fatah Movement and “Jound al Sham”, NNA field correspondent reported.

The clashes are centered at Boustan al Quds junction inside the Camp. Numerous injuries were reported; however, the exact number remains unknown.

Rouhani : Iran Must Boost Defense Power


Iranian President Hassan Rouhani says the Islamic Republic must enhance its defense power, stressing that Iran has no intention of invading any country.

We should strengthen our defense capability, so that the [nuclear] agreement [reached with the P5+1 group] and stability will remain sustainable in this country and our cordial ties with the region and the world will remain amicable and lasting,” Rouhani said during a ceremony in Tehran on Saturday marking National Defense Industry Day.

He added that Iran’s defense industries are there to defend the country's territory, interests and people, saying Tehran has never sought to launch aggression against other countries.

Iraqi Army Shells ISIL Positions near Ramadi, Kills over 15 Fighters


An Iraqi army commander said that his forces' artillery shelling of the ISIL Takfiri terrorists' strongholds in the Western side of Ramadi left at least 15 militants killed and several more wounded.

The artillery units of al-Jazeerah and al-Badiyah Operations Command shelled two gathering centers of the ISIL in the area of Albu Hayat in Haditha District (160 km West of Ramadi), killing over 15 militants," Commander of al-Jazeerah and al-Badiyah Operations Major General Ali Ibrahim Daboun announced.

On Tuesday, the Iraqi defense ministry announced that massive offensives of the Iraqi army alongside the volunteer forces have forced the ISIL Takfiri terrorists to retreat from the Northern fronts of Ramadi.

Iran Finds 3 Faults With US Proposal on Implementing JCPOA


Tehran  -   A member of Iranian nuclear negotiations team said on that Iran has found three faults in a US proposal for alterations in Arak nuclear reactor, arguing that the plan for those alterations is a national one, not any other country's proposal, or plan.

A panel discussion to survey the technical dimensions of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was held at the Central Office of IRNA in the presence of members of Iranian nuclear negotiations team PezhmanRahimian and former negotiator Cyrus Nasseri.
