Solution to Syrian crisis only through Syrian nation

TEHRAN – Head of Iran’s Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi asserted on Monday that the only solution to Syrian crisis is to let their nation decide their own fate, according to the Mehr News.

In his meeting with Masahisa Sato, chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Commission of Japan’s House of Councilors, Boroujerdi pointed to the history of relations between Iran and Japan and said, “Despite the geographical distance, there are many commonalities between the two countries providing grounds for the development of political, economic, cultural, and parliamentary relations.”

Death Toll of Turkish Coup Attempt Rises to 265, More than 1,440 People Injured
