Iran adamant in supporting Syria: advisor

TEHRAN - Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, a foreign policy advisor to the parliament speaker, said on Saturday that Iran will strongly continue backing the Syrian government and people, according to Tehran Times.

“Tehran’s support for Syria will be continued with loud voice till complete defeat of the terrorists,” IRNA quoted Amir-Abdollahian as saying.

He added that Iran will continue backing Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

ISIL Executes 17 Fugitive Members in Mosul

The ISIL terrorist group executed 17 members who had fled the battle grounds in Southern Mosul.

"The ISIL executed 17 fugitive members after they escaped the battlefield during clashes near al-Qayyara region in Southern Mosul," an official of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) said on Saturday.

The official said that the ISIL terrorists were killed at Bab al-Toub square in Mosul by a death squad.

At Least 3 Killed in Saudi Airstrikes on Yemeni Province of Sa'ada

At least three people, including a woman, have been killed in two separate Saudi aerial attacks against residential neighborhoods in Yemen’s northwestern province of Sa’ada, Press T.V reported.

Saudi warplanes targeted a house in Baqim district south of Sana’a on Saturday, leaving a couple dead, Arabic-language al-Masirah television reported.

Iran urges end to Saudi ‘hallucinations’

Iran says Saudi Arabia should stop letting “hallucinations” govern its actions in the Middle East, urging Riyadh to change its regional and international policies.

“It behooves Saudi Arabia to seriously revise its behavior in the region and it is necessary that good judgment replace hallucinations,” said Bahram Qassami, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, on Friday, according to Press TV.

Egyptian Popular Committee for Solidarity with Syria Urges Restoring Full Syrian-Egyptian Diplomatic Relations

CAIRO-The Egyptian Popular Committee for Solidarity with the Syrian people has renewed its support to the Syrian state which has been fighting terrorism for more than five years.

Hamdi Ballat, the committee's Secretary General, said in a conference held in Cairo to voice solidarity with Syria "we stand strongly against the terrorist groups which have wrecked havoc in Syria," noting that the Syrian state is being exposed to a heinous Zionist war backed by traitorous Arab and regional regimes.
