Zionist Forces Shoot Dead Palestinian Man in West Bank

Zionist  forces have shot and killed a Palestinian in the occupied West Bank after accusing him of carrying out an anti-Israeli attack.

The Palestinian was targeted on Wednesday after allegedly stabbing and wounding two Israelis at the entrance to the Jewish settlement of Beit Hadassah in the center of the occupied city of al-Khalil (Hebron).

One Israeli was wounded moderately and the other one sustained light injuries.

Zarif, Lavrov stress joint efforts to end terrorism in Syria

Iran and Russia have once again emphasized their determination to continue joint efforts aimed at boosting the fight against the Takfiri terrorist groups wreaking havoc in Syria.

In a telephone conversation on Tuesday, Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, discussed the latest developments in the Middle East region, particularly the situation in Syria, according to Press TV.

Respect for Will of People Key to Syria Peace Efforts: Iranian Diplomat

TEHRAN– An Iranian deputy foreign minister acclaimed the UN-led measures for ending a prolonged crisis in Syria, stressing that the international peace efforts must respect the Syrian people’s decisions and be coordinated with the Damascus government.

“We welcome any positive step taken by various actors that would lead to the settlement of the (Syrian) crisis in line with respect for the sovereignty (of Syria) and the public will and would leave the decision on the political fate to the Syrians themselves,” Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian said in a gathering of foreign ambassadors residing in Tehran, on Monday, according to the Tasnim News.

US Has 'Nothing to Say' About Daesh Oil Incomes – Russian Lawmaker

After Washington said Daesh is not selling very much illegal oil, it still cannot explain how the terrorists are receiving their oil income, a Russian lawmaker said.

In their attempts to back Turkey, the US has underestimated the role of oil trafficking by Daesh (also known as ISIL) and has kept silent about how the terrorist group receives its oil incomes, Russian lawmaker Alexei Pushkov said, according to the Sputnik News.

Unauthorized Military Intervention Spreads Terrorism, says Larijani

 

Iran’s Parliament (Majlis) Speaker Ali Larijani says unauthorized military intervention in the Middle East conflicts will only help spread terrorism.

The fight against terrorism does not require the deployment of troops which is usually done to achieve other goals. Such deployment, per se, will contribute to the spread of terrorism,” Larijani said during an open session of Majlis on Sunday.

The Iranian Majlis speaker also warned that the deployment of Turkish forces near the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, which is under the control of Daesh Takfiri terrorists, would only lead to more insecurity and crisis across the region.
