An Egyptian parliamentarian calls for lifting the coercive measures imposed on Syria

Cairo, (ST) - A member of the Egyptian parliament, Tadros Kaldas, condemned the unilateral Western coercive measures imposed on Syria, stressing that they are part of the conspiracy targeting it.

"Washington and the West have double standards and have purposes and greed in the region," Kaldas said in a special statement to SANA correspondent in Cairo, calling for immediately lifting all coercive measures imposed on Syria, especially in light of its confrontation of the spread of the Corona virus.

Kaldas praised the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army in its war against terrorism, and said that “this army stands against the forces of evil and their supporters. This army defends the country and its unity in the face of terrorism and conspiracies, and we support it.”
