Kilicdaroglu : Erdogan pursues failed policies towards Syria

On February 18, the Leader of Turkish Republican People's Party (CHP) Kemal Kilicdaroglu  reiterated that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan pursues failed and dangerous policies in Syria.

“Erdogan has proven with his policies in Syria that he is a tool in the hands of the external powers that used it in its projects for the region,” Kilicdaroglu  said at his party’s parliamentary bloc meeting.

For his part, Muhammed Ali Gular , an analyst for international affairs in the Turkish newspaper Cumhuriyet, called on  Erdogan to stop interfering in the Syrian affairs and withdraw his forces from the governorate of  Idlib.

Gular said that Erdogan did not abide by his pledges to the Sochi Agreement, which protects "Jabhat al-Nusra" terrorists in Idlib.

Gular stressed that the Syrian state has the right to eliminate the terrorists from its soil.
