Several Palestinians wounded in an Israeli attack against al-Aqsa Mosque

A number of Palestinians were wounded today when the Israeli occupation troops broke into al-Aqsa Mosque and attacked hundreds of worshippers.

The Palestinian News Agency said that following the end of al-Fajr prayers, the occupation troops entered the mosque and used gas bombs and rubber-coated bullets against worshippers causing the injury of some Palestinians and the suffocation of others.

 Meanwhile, a number of extremist settlers attacked the village of Shurofat  to the south of occupied Jerusalem and set fire to one of its mosques causing huge material damage.

In the meantime, the occupation troops arrested today 15 Palestinians from the neighborhoods of Wadi al-Jouz, Beit Hanina, Ras al-Amoud and the old town of occupied Jerusalem.
