More than 7,500 children are victims of the continuous Saudi aggression against Yemen, report and statistics say

SANA’A, (ST) - Statistics issued by the Yemeni Ministry of Health today on the violations of the Saudi aggression coalition against Yemeni children over a period of 1700 days revealed that the number of child victims as a result of Saudi attacks has reached more than 7500 children, including 3672 dead.

Al-Masera website quoted ministry spokesman Youssef Al-Hadri as saying that the raids have left more than 800 children with permanent disabilities.

There are also more than eighty thousand children with multiple types of psychological and neurological conditions due to accumulations of 5 years of direct shelling of the houses of citizens.


Al-Hadhri pointed out that nearly 3 million children under the age of five are suffering from malnutrition, including 400 thousand children who are severely malnourished and at risk of death every ten minutes if they do not receive appropriate medical care. He pointed out that the closure of Sana’a airport prevented approximately 320,000 citizens from traveling abroad to receive treatment, 42,000 have died and 13 %  of them were children.
