Czech President: Erdogan commits war crimes in Syria

Czech President Miloš Zeman said that the Turkish regime commits war crimes in Syria and supports terrorist organizations operating there. In an interview he gave last night to Barrandov TV channel, President Zeman called for refusing Turkey's request to join the European Union because of its aggression against Syrian territories.

Earlier, former Czech foreign Minister Jan Kavan affirmed that the Turkish aggression against the Syrian territories is a flagrant violation of the International law and UN conventions. He called for isolating Turkey, severing diplomatic relations with it and imposing an international economic embargo on Erdogan's regime .

In Bratislava, the foreign relations committee at the Slovak Parliament, called on the Slovak government to demand from Erdogan to immediately halt the Turkish aggression against Syria and pull out the invading forces from the Syrian territories.
