Three Turkish occupation mercenaries killed in clashes in Afrin, north of Aleppo

On April 15th, three terrorists from the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation were killed as a result of clashes between them, and one of their headquarters was targeted in Afrin, northwest of Aleppo.

Local sources said that  fighting with light and medium weapons took place between the so-called “Sham Legion” terrorist groups among them in the village of Maidanaki in Afrin region, which led to the killing of one of the terrorists.

The sources said that the clashes caused a state of panic among the people in the village, who were forced to leave their work and hide in their homes for a long time in a situation that is repeated almost daily.

In a related context, the sources said that two terrorists of the so-called “Sultan Muhammad Al-Fateh Brigade” were killed and others were injured as a result of the bombing of one of their headquarters in the Bulbul village, near Afrin.

The areas controlled by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries are witnessing a state of chaos and fighting among the terrorists.

Al-Miqdad: Reports of Organization of Non-Proliferation of Chemical Weapons are politicized to serve Western interests

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, affirmed that the reports of the Organization of the Non-Proliferation of Chemical Weapons on Syria are politicized to serve the interests of the West, pointing out that the US and Western countries ’continuing pressure at this stage is basically linked to the upcoming constitutional elections.

In an interview with the Syrian Al-Ekhbariya channel on Wednesday, Al-Miqdad stressed the failure of the West’s plans and military and terrorist pressures during the previous years, pointing out that the Syrian people decided to live with dignity and pride, to govern themselves and not to respond to those pressures.

Two civilians wounded in a car explosion in Al-Bab town, in Aleppo countryside

On April 14th, two civilians and a number of Turkish occupation mercenaries were wounded by an explosive device in a car in the vicinity of Al-Bab town in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

Local sources said that an explosive device went off in a truck carrying a Turkish license  plate number  loaded with potatoes near Othman Bin Affan Mosque in the vicinity of Al-Bab which  resulted in the injury of two civilians and a number of Turkish occupation mercenaries.

The sources said that the explosion was strong, which led to the outbreak of fires in the place and the occurrence of significant material damage to property and damage to parts of the walls of a number of residential houses far from the site of the explosion.

On March 20th, a number of civilians were killed and others were wounded in a car bomb explosion in the town of Al-Bab.

SDF militia kidnap 4 civilians in the village of Al-Zr in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor

On April 15th, the US-backed SDF militias kidnapped a number of people in the village of Al-Zer in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

Civil sources stated that armed groups from the SDF militias raided a number of citizens' homes in the village of Al-Zar in the eastern countryside of the city, kidnapped 4 civilians and took them to an unknown destination.

The SDF militias escalated their raids in northeast Syria and kidnapped hundreds of youths in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, Raqqa and Hasakah, and took them for forced recruitment.

5 civilians are wounded by a mine explosion in the Sahl al-Banat area, in Raqqa countryside

On April 14th, a mine left by   terrorist organizations exploded, wounding 5 civilians  in the Sahl al-Banat area in the northern countryside of Raqqa.

Local sources said that a mine left over from the terrorist organizations exploded in a waste dump and wounded 5 persons who were working in the collection and trade of scrap, with varying injuries.

Before their defeat, the terrorist organizations planted mines and explosive devices in their places of deployment and hid them in villages and towns and in agricultural lands to inflict as much damage as possible to the people.

Syria rejects the OPCW report on the alleged Saraqib incident

Damascus, (ST) -  Syria affirmed its rejection and condemnation of what was in the misleading report issued by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) about the alleged Saraqib incident, stressing that it is a falsification of facts.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement that, on the 12th of this month, the OPCW issued a misleading report by the so-called "investigation and identification team", which Syria and a large number of states party to the Chemical Weapons Convention had previously announced that it as illegal. This team was put by the United States of America and its Western allies as a result of tampering with the texts and provisions of the Chemical Weapons Convention.

The ministry added that, this report included false and fabricated conclusions representing another scandal of the OPCW and its investigation team. It is added to the scandal of the "Fact Finding Mission" report on the Douma 2018 incident and the previous "Investigation and Identification Team" report on the Al-Lataminah 2017 incidents. The ministry indicated that, the aim of the fabrication of these conclusions is to falsify the facts and accuse the Syrian government of using toxic materials for an alleged incident in the town of Saraqib on February 4, 2018.

The ministry said that this illegal team relied in its investigations on open sources and on what , the "White Helmets" terrorist group, and the intelligence of some countries hostile to Syria had provided it with .It pointed out that, the team did not visit the site of the alleged incident, and its experts did not take the supposed samples themselves in violation of basic principles and objective procedures stipulated in the Chemical Weapons Convention and in a clear violation of the most basic rules of the investigation and its impartiality.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates continued that, the Syrian Arab Republic condemns in the strongest terms what was stated in the illegal report of the so-called "investigation and identification team" and rejects the form and content of it. It affirms that it was not surprised at all by the conclusions of this illegal team and at the same time, Syria categorically denies its use Poison gases in the town of Saraqib or in any other Syrian city or village. It also confirms that the Syrian Arab Army did not use such weapons in the most difficult battles it fought against the armed terrorist organizations.

Al-Miqdad, to a delegation from the World Food Program (WFP): There is a need to reach humanitarian aid for the needy people without politicization

Damascus, (ST) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad discussed on Wednesday with the head of the operations department at the main office of the World Food Program (WFP), Amer Al-Daoudi and the accompanying delegation, means of cooperation between the Syrian government and the WFP.

During the meeting, Minister Al-Miqdad praised the efforts made by the WFP in Syria and the humanitarian aid that it provides to the Syrians. He stressed the need for humanitarian aid to reach those who deserve it and for it not to be politicized by some countries, in compliance with the principles of humanitarian work.
