Syria, UNOPS discuss requirements of educational process

DAMASCUS, DEC.2 (ST)- The Minister of Education Darem Tabba’a and the Advisor of Programs Management at the United Nations Office for Projects Services (UNOPS) in Syria Azosya Sheiba discussed on Thursday the ways of ensuring support for rehabilitating schools and the current situation of education and its requirements.
The two sides also talked about a joint working plan in education field. 
Tabba’a asserted the ministry’s keenness on rehabilitating schools and following up training courses for teachers, indicating that the People’s Assembly [Parliament] approved today bill related to vocational education with the aim of  contributing to rebuilding Syria. 
For her part, Sheiba said that the UNOPS is keen on supporting educational projects in Syria after defining the requirements.
