Syria condemns terrorist attacks that rocked Iraqi capital

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Syria has condemned  in the strongest possible terms the twin terrorist  bombings  that rocked  a busy market in central Baghdad on Thursday morning, killing at least 32 people and injuring 110 others. 
A source at the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Thursday that the Syrian Arab Republic condemns the cowardly terrorist attacks that took place in the heart of Baghdad. It affirmed that these attacks prove that there is an urgent need to unify  efforts to fight terrorism until eliminating it completely.
"Terrorism poses a serious threat to security and stability in the region and the world," the source added, asserting that Syria expresses its solidarity with Iraq and offers heartfelt condolences to the Iraqi people and leadership and the families of the victims and wishes speedy recovery to wounded people.
