Army Destroys Jabhat al-Nusra Terrorists’ Positions in Idelb

IDLEB – Army units retaliated to terrorists’ breaches of the agreement of the de-escalation zone and targeted hideouts of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the southeastern countryside of Idelb, SANA reported.

SANA reporter said that the army units launched missiles targeting positions of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and groups affiliated to it in the countryside of Idelb in vicinity of Saraqeb town.

Zakharova Says Situation in Syria's Idleb "Very Serious", Stresses Need to Eliminate Terrorism There

MOSCOW-Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova reiterated the need to eliminate terrorist organizations in Idleb province , noting that the situation in the province is “very serious” and can’t be allowed to continue as it is, according to SANA.

Speaking at a weekly briefing on Thursday, Zakharova said that the situation in Syria is stable in general, yet the main hotbed of terrorism is still remaining in Idleb and Moscow is looking to make a radical shift there.

The Venezuelan Ambassador in Damascus Jose Gregorio Biomorgi Muzzatiz stressed that the exhibition showcases photos documenting the three visits the late leader Hugo Chavez paid to Syria. The visits aimed to unify efforts in the struggle against imperialist hegemony, in building a multi-polar world order and in supporting Arab causes and people's right to self determination.

Child Martyred, 6 Civilians Injured in Terrorist Rocket Attacks on Jourin Village in Hama

HAMA –One child was killed Wednesday and 6 civilians were injured in attacks of terrorist groups with a number of rockets on Jourin village in Hama north-western countryside in a new breach of the de-escalation zones agreement in Idleb, according to SANA.

SANA reporter in Hama said that terrorist groups positioned in  the village of al-Sarmania and its outskirts targeted Jourin with several shells, killing a girl and injuring 6 civilians.

Army Destroys Terrorists’ Hideouts in Countryside of Hama

HAMA– Army units destroyed hideouts of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the outskirts of al-Jammasa and al-Sharia villages in the countryside of Hama, SANA reported.

According to SANA reporter in Hama, army units positioned at the vicinity of al-Karem launched missiles on the areas were the terrorist groups are spread when they attempted to infiltrate from the villages of al-Jammasa and al-Sharia in al-Ghab valley to safe villages.

The reporter clarified that terrorists’ positions were destroyed and many of them were either killed or injured during the operation.

Syrian Foreign Ministry Receives Grant from Chinese Government

DAMASCUS, (ST)-  Syria and China on Wednesday signed a memo on handing over of a grant offered by the Chinese government to the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

The memo was signed by Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Soussan and the Chinese Ambassador in Damascus Feng Biao.

The grants includes computers, printers, scanners and photocopiers.

Soussan stressed that the grant embodies China's constructive stance in support for Syria during the eight-year terrorist war on the country, noting the deep-rooted relations of friendship and cooperation between Syria and China.
