Two children martyred in a landmine blast in Daraa countryside

DARAA, (ST)- An explosion of a landmine, left by terrorists before their defeat in Sheikh Miskin city of Daraa northern countryside, has claimed the lives of two children and wounded two civilians, according to SANA reporter in Daraa.

Director of Daraa National Hospital, Dr. Bassam al-Hariri, told SANA reporter that the hospital received the bodies of two children, who died because of a landmine blast, in addition to two other wounded civilians whose health condition is now stable after receiving necessary medical treatment.

“This is a preliminary toll, as maybe other wounded persons are still at the explosion site,” Dr. al-Hariri added.

 Before their defeat and expulsion from all the areas they held in Daraa, the Terrorist organizations placed explosive devices and landmines which mostly explode and cause the martyrdom and the wounding of civilians as well as material damage in properties.
