Turkish occupation and its mercenaries cut water to al-Hasakah after government re-pumped it this morning

Hasaka(ST) - Turkish occupation forces and its terrorist mercenaries cut off water supplies from Alouk water station after only hours of its operation this morning. This means the people of Hasaka will continue to suffer as a result of lack of  water for the fourth day in row.

In a statement Director General of Hasaka Water Company Mahmoud al-Ukla told SANA that company’s workers are ready to operate Alouk water station again after its  work was stopped by the Turkish occupation and its terrorist mercenaries.

He affirmed that the company’s continued efforts to operate it as  it is the only source for providing drinking water for more than a million people in Hasaka and the residential neighborhoods there.

The United Nations Children's Fund, "UNICEF" condemned earlier the Turkish regime and its terrorist mercenaries for cutting off the water feeding cities in northeastern Syria, which endangers the lives of more than a million people at risk, especially at a time when the world is making efforts to combat the Corona virus before it spreads.
