Qatar’s Remarks on Continuous Support for Terrorists in Syria an Attempt to Raise Terrorist Groups’ Collapsed Morale

DAMASCUS, (ST)- The remarks made by the Foreign Minister of Qatar on the continuity of supplying terrorists in Syria with weapons are nothing but a new attempt to raise the collapsed morale of the terrorist groups after their defeats by the Syrian Arab Army at different front across the country, according to an official sources at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

Commenting on the remarks of the Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammad Bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, the source told SANA on Monday that “once again the Qatari regime uncovers its close connection to the armed terrorist gangs in Syria through offering them all forms of military, financial and political support that has made this regime one of the reservoirs of extremism, terrorism and takfiri thinking.”

The source said the Qatari regime wasn’t in need to confirm the already well-known fact about its relation with takfiri terrorism. Such relation was made clear in the role played by this regime several times as a mediator to release some kidnapped people and hostages at the terrorist groups, he added.

Terrorism in Syria will inevitably be eliminated, stressed the source, urging the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and adopt deterrent actions against the countries supporting terrorism which has become serious threat to international peace and security.

Sooner or later, the countries which backed terrorism will pay the price for their destructive policies after terrorism backfires on its supporters, affirmed the source.
