PROVINCES,(ST)_Syrian army has warded off ISIS attack on water well outside Palmyra a day after foiling an attack launched by the same terror organization on two towns outside Sweida , according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency reported today that army units clashed with ISIS terrorists that were trying to attack –from several axes- the al-Hefneh water well near al-Sekhneh town, which lies about 40 km  north-east of Palmyra city.

The clashes resulted in the death of many terrorists and destruction of their vehicles and weapons, a military source said.

The same terrorist organization [ISIS or ISL or Daesh] tried yesterday to attack towns of Dalfa'a and Abo Harat in the northern countryside of Sweida, but army units foiled the attack and killed and injured scores of terrorists.
