Iranians Never Played Zionist Regime’s Game

TEHRAN - In reaction to Israeli Netanyahu’s offer to help Iranians overcome water crisis, the Iranian energy minister said Wed. that Iranians have never played Zionist regime’s game.

Speaking after attending a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, energy minister Reza Ardakanian said that Netanyahu was dreaming as usual and the Iranian will let the Israeli regime down as they have done during the past 40 years since the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Ardakanian said that the prime minister of Israeli regime must know that Iranians have successfully managed to overcome their water shortages for thousands of years.

Saudi-Led Forces Begin Assault on Yemen's Hudaydah

Forces backed by the Saudi-led coalition have launched an offensive against Yemen’s Red Sea port city of Hudaydah in defiance of warnings by the UN and international rights groups against the catastrophic repercussions of such a military action.

On Wednesday morning, Saudi-owned Al Arabiya TV network announced the beginning of the Hudaydah operation, which the UN has warned could cause up to 250,000 deaths, according to Press TV.

The Saudi-led military alliance is providing air cover to the operation.

Iranian Military Advisors Are in Syria Based on Syrian Government's Formal Request: Rouhani

TEHRAN- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has stressed  that despite the illegitimate presence of some foreign countries' forces in Syria, Iranian military advisors are in the country based on its government's formal request with the purpose of fighting terrorism.

Rouhani made the remarks during a Tuesday phone call with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.

He welcomes the continuation of consultations with France on ways to establish peace and stability in Syria.

According to Press TV, Rouhani expressed hope that terrorism would be eradicated in Syria through joint efforts by pro-Syrian government forces and people so that there would be no need to foreign forces.

North Korea, US sign ‘comprehensive’ document after historic summit

US President Donald Trump and North Korea leader Kim Jong-un have signed a document described by the American leader as important and comprehensive, following a historic summit between the two in Singapore.

Trump also said after signing the document at the Capella Hotel on Singapore’s Sentosa Island on Tuesday that he expected denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula to begin “very quickly.”

Palestinians must decide fate of Palestine: Ayatollah Khamenei

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the fate of Palestine must be determined by Palestinians, including Muslims, Jews and Christians, who originally lived in the historical land of Palestine.

“Today, democracy is a modern method, which is accepted by the entire world.We said that to determine the fate of the historical country of Palestine, they must refer to the people of Palestine and this proposal has been registered at the United Nations as the Islamic Republic’s opinion,” Ayatollah Khamenei said in a meeting with a group of university professors and academics in Tehran on Sunday, Press TV reported.
