Biden's nominee for US intelligence vows to release report on who killed Khashoggi

US President-elect Joe Biden's nominee for Director of the National Intelligence (DNI) Avril Haines has vowed to release an unclassified report on who ordered and carried out the murder of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in his country’s consulate in Istanbul.

During a Senate hearing on Tuesday, Haines, who would serve as the Biden administration's intelligence chief if confirmed by lawmakers, pledged that her office would follow the law when it comes to handing the Khashoggi report to Congress.

Cuban President: Trump's policy on Havana is rude and inhuman

 

Havana, (ST) - Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel described the outgoing US President Donald Trump's policy toward his country as rude and inhuman.                                                                                               

 

Diaz-Canel said in a tweet that “Trump has tightened the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed on his country by imposing more than 200 punitive measures covering various economic sectors in Cuba.”  He stressed that, despite all this, Cuba remains steadfast and will continue to resist and win.

 

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez affirmed that, Trump and his Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo lie when they designate Cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism, indicating that they rely on lying to cover up their political failures.

 

Rodriguez criticized the unfair distribution of Corona virus vaccines, noting that only 10 countries in the world have bought 95 percent of the vaccines produced so far, while the rest of the countries have been neglected and are without vaccines.

Israeli occupation forces demolish Al-Araqib village for the 182nd time

Occupied Al -Quds, (ST) - Israeli occupation forces demolished Al-Araqib village in the Negev region in the occupied Palestinian territories since 1948 for the 182nd time.

"Ma'an" Agency reported that, the occupation forces stormed the village with a number of bulldozers, demolished Palestinian homes and tents, and displaced their families.

The people of the village of Al-Araqib affirm that they will continue the battle of steadfastness for their lands, rebuilding their homes and erecting tents again. They stressed   their rejection of the occupation plans that demolished dozens of villages in the occupied Palestinian territories in 1948 with the aim of displacing their people and seizing their lands, an area estimated at hundreds of thousands of dunams, as part of its plan to Judaize these villages.

Occupation forces arrested seven Palestinian in Tol Karm in the West Bank

The Israeli Occupation forces arrested  today seven Palestinian in the West Bank

Wafa News mentioned that the occupation forces stormed the town of Ram Allah and the camp of Tol Karm and  Antaba in the east of the city and raided and searched the Palestinian houses and arrested seven Palestinians.

Yesterday  the occupation forces arrested eleven Palestinian including a child in separate area in the West bank

Rouhani: Trump did nothing but create injustice and corruption during his rule

Tehran ,(ST)-Iranian President Hassan Rouhani affirmed that the outgoing US President Donald Trump did not present during his rule anything other than injustice, corruption and problems for the people and the world.

Rouhani said during the Iranian government meeting today that “Trump and his black squad have left, and Iran stayed with its resistance,” adding that “Trump committed crimes against the Iranian people in light of the Corona pandemic and also tried to pressure the Iranian government but failed to do so.”
