The Slovakian website Pantyon confirmed that the coercive Western economic measures imposed on Syria are the main cause of the suffering of the Syrian people.

The site indicated in an article today that the European Union, through its participation in the application of these unjust measures, contributes to sabotaging the Syrian economy. It also practices lying when it claims that the Syrian government bears responsibility for the difficult living conditions in the country. The site referred to the EU’s silence to what the United States is doing with other countries such as sabotaging the state and stealing its natural resources, which is a violation of international law.
