Syrian Olympic Football team beats Japan in Asia Cup

 Syrian Olympic Football team beat the Japanese team (2-1) in the second round of the groups’ league of U-23 Asian Cup that was held in Tailand.

Abdul Al-Rahaman Barakat (9th min) and Alaa’ Al-Deen Dali (87th min) scored for Syria.

KSA tied with Qatar (0-0) in the same group.

With this result, Syria and KSA ranked first with 4 points while Qatar ranked second with 2 points and Japan ranked third with no points.

Syria will meet KSA next Wednesday, Good luck to our team.


Syria's Olympic team tied with its Qatari counterpart in the Asia Finals

Bangkok,(ST)- Syria's Olympic football team tied with its Qatari counterpart with two goals for each in the first matches of the Asian U-23 finals currently held in the Thai capital Bangkok for the second group that also includes Japan and Saudi Arabia.
The tournament was launched yesterday and the Thai team beat its Bahraini counterpart 5 zero, and Iraq and Australia tied with a goal each within the first group competition.
Our team qualified for the Asian finals as the second best team in the qualifiers that took place in Kuwait last year.

Syria's Olympic football team heads to Thailand to participate in the Asian Finals

Damascus, (ST - The Syrian Olympic Football Team  heads to the Thai capital, Bangkok, today to participate in the Asian U-23 Championship, which will start next Wednesday.

Our team will participate in the finals in the second group where they will face Qatar in the first match next Thursday.They will play with its Japan and Saudi counterparts on the 12th and 15th of this month respectively.

Syrian Ghazal qualifies in Tokyo Olympics 2020

Syrian Athlete Majd Al-Deen Ghazal qualified in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 after he ranked in the sixth place with 1312 points in the international ranking.

It is to be mentioned that Ghazal won the gold medal in the Asian Championship, Slovakia and London while he won the silver medal in the Diamond league of Rome and World Military Championship in China.
