Arab, Hungarian committees participate in celebration on Syria's Independence Day in Budapest

Syrian, Arab and Hungarian political and cultural committees have participated in a celebration held Saturday by the "Forum For Syria" group and the Syrian community in Hungary's capital [Budapest] on the occasion of Syria's Independence Day [also known as Evacuation Day].

The speakers in celebration underlined the importance of commemorating the Independence Day and the Baath Arab Socialist Party's foundation during the aggression being launched on the Syrian state.

Hundreds attend rally in Bucharest to express solidarity with Syria

Hundreds of Syrian expatriates plus several members of the Arab communities and Romanian citizens took part in a rally held in Bucharest to express solidarity with Syria and the Syrian Arab army in fighting terrorism.

The participants raised the Syrian, Russian and Iranian flags and pictures of President Bashar al-Assad, according to the official news agency (SANA)

Syrian students in Cuba took part in ELAM's cultural week

Syrian students in Cuba have shown several photos of Syria plus traditional clothes and booklets about the history and the civilization of the homeland in the cultural week organized by the Latin American School for Medical Sciences (ELAM).

The cultural week included a stage show performed by Syrian, Yemeni and Palestinian students about the Syrian folklore and a video showing the Syrian people's steadfastness during the global war being waged on the country, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency added that the Syrian students alongside Arab and foreign students carried the Syrian flag and the pictures of President Bashar al-Assad, saluting the Syrian Arab army, which is combating terrorism.

The Syrian Community in Czech has underscored that the Syrian army's recapture of al-Qaryateen town in Homs countryside one week after it regained control over Palmyra city proves that this army is the most effective power in fighting terrorism.

It said a statement carried by the official news agency (SANA) that the achievement of further victories over terrorist organizations in Syria is the best retaliation against the state sponsors of terrorism, especially Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Syrian expatriates thank Russia, celebrate recapture of Palmyra city

The Syrian community in Romania has thanked Russia for its support to Syria in counter terrorism a day after a celebration was held in Slovakia to congratulate the Syrian people and army on the recapture of the ancient Palmyra city from ISIS terrorists.

The community held Friday a rally in front of the Russian Embassy in Bucharest in order to thank Russia and to express support for the homeland in fighting terrorism.

Syrian and Russian flags plus pictures of President Bashar al-Assad and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin were carried by the participants in the rally, according to the Tishreen newspaper.
