MP Marie al-Bittar to ST: Iraq's Kurdistan Independence Referendum Comes within Fragmentation Plot Prepared by the West

Syrian Member of Parliament Marie al-Bittar has underscored that Iraqi Kurdistan independence will never happen, pointing out that the  Kurds have rights just like Arabs and their demands must be negotiated.

Speaking to the Syriatimes e-newspaper's journalist via WhatsApp on Wednesday, the MP said:" Iraqi Kurdistan independence will never happen because it means cutting part of Iraq, but we must be aware of the serious fragmentation project and its repercussions on the whole region."

She believes that the Iraqi Kurdistan independence referendum held on September 25th is a grave step in the light of the chaos the region is going through.

Syria will be Freed Completely from any Aggressor

“Syria will be Freed Completely from any Aggressor” – Dr Shaaban Challenges US Proxies

Political and media advisor to the Syrian President, Bashar al Assad, Dr Bouthain Shaaban has thrown down the gauntlet to the US proxies inside Syria. In a statement to Al Manar TV, Dr. Shaaban made it perfectly clear that Syria would not tolerate any challenge to the full and final cleansing of Syrian territory from the US Coalition-funded terrorist brigades and co-opted factions.

“Whether it’s the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), or Daesh or any illegitimate foreign force in the country… we will fight and work against them so our land is freed completely from any aggressor,” ~ Dr Shaaban

At the same time, reports are coming in that over 1000 militants have surrendered and defected to the Syrian Arab Army as they see their US coalition-shored-up defences crumbling across Syria.

The following report is from Press TV:

“The political and media adviser to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad says government troops, backed by fighters from allied popular defense groups, will fight any force, including the US-backed militia, to fully liberate the Arab country plagued with terrorism for over six years.

“Whether it’s the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), or Daesh or any illegitimate foreign force in the country… we will fight and work against them so our land is freed completely from any aggressor,” said Bouthaina Shaaban in an exclusive interview with Lebanon-based Arabic-language al-Manar television network on Friday.

She added that the US-backed SDF forces had managed to capture areas in northeastern Syria from Daesh “without any fighting,” implying that the Takfiri militants were working hand in glove with the SDF to take oil-rich areas.

“But they will not get what they want,” the Syrian official added.

The SDF is a coalition of Kurdish and Arab fighters dominated by the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), which is in control of large parts of northeastern Syria for many years. The SDF forces have gained ground against Daesh in the northern city of Raqqah, the terror group’s de facto capital in the Arab country.

The US and its allies have been bombarding what they call Daesh positions inside Syria since September 2014 without any authorization from the Damascus government or a UN mandate. They also support some groups, such as the SDF, claiming that they help them in their alleged fight against Daesh terrorists.

Different foreign-backed terrorist groups have been wreaking havoc in Syria since 2011. The government controls the main urban centers in the west of the country and has recaptured much of the eastern desert from Daesh in recent months.

On Tuesday, Lieutenant General Aleksandr Lapin, the Russian chief of staff in Syria, announced that Damascus was in control of 85 percent of the Arab country’s territories. He added that Syrian forces must now purge terrorists from the country’s remaining 15 percent, which amounts to 27,000 square kilometers.”

MP Shbero to ST: Foreign Delegations' Visits to Syria Have Positive Effects

The goals of foreign parliamentary delegations' visits to Syria are somehow different , but the main goal is to be briefed on the ongoing war in Syria and its effects on all fields of life.

This is what the Rapporteur of Foreign and Arab Affairs Committee in the Syrian People's Assembly [parliament], MP. Maha Shbero told the Syriatimes e-newspaper's journalist in a WhatsApp interview on Thursday.

"It is noted that the visiting European delegations' opinions about what is happening in Syria have changed after they have seen the reality of events in the country," the MP asserted, indicating that the delegations'  previous opinions were based on fabricated news circulated by western media outlets.

Torrent of victory

Have you ever heard about the floods in the desert?

Have you seen it?

I once heard about it from a resident of the oases when I visited Palmyra years ago.

He said that it is but a lot of water comes from nowhere. It takes everything in its way cleaning the land and washing the sand then it goes to somewhere away , may be to a deep valley where it disappears.

That's what's happening right now in Deir El-Zour, it is the torrent of the Syrian Arab Army and allied forces, which purifies the earth from terrorism and from all of those who tried to desecrate the Syrian soil . The Syrian army which drives them away in the desert burying them far away where nowhere rejecting them out of history as they came from outside the history.....
