Former US Congresswoman to ST: Washington conveys ISIS terrorists from Syria to keep its strategic force alive

Former US Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney has said that the U.S. should never have entered Syria, yet it seeks to keep its strategic force based on al-Qaeda, ISIS and the other Muslim offshoots alive.

In a statement to the Syriatimes e-newspaper on the reason behind the convey of ISIS terrorists and their wives from Syria by the U.S. occupation forces, Mckinney asserted that the United States created al-Qaeda and ISIS and the other Muslim offshoots for its own geostrategic purposes.

“In order to keep this strategic force alive, the U.S. will do anything except tell U.S. taxpayers and the world the truth about its actions,” she added.

The former congresswoman pointed out that the U.S. should never have entered Syria or Libya, Yemen, Sudan..etc.

“The U.S. created the problems in the region on behalf of Israel; both were bent on erasing the country lines constructed after WWI, known as Sykes-Picot Agreement,” she affirmed.

Kurds have been used in the Israel-US geopolitical game

As for the U.S. Vice President Mike Pence’s announcement- made on October 17- that the U.S. and Turkey agreed on a deal in which Turkey will agree to a ceasefire in Syria for 5 days in return for a complete withdrawal by the ‘Syrian Democratic Forces’ from a ‘safe zone’ south of the Syria-Turkey border, McKinney stressed that the Kurds made a mistake in trusting the word of the U.S. and Israel, anyway.

“Unfortunately, for Kurds this is not the first time that they have been used in the Israel-US geopolitical game. However, the Kurds are a dissatisfied nation; the fire for freedom and self-determination burns bright in them. What I don’t understand is why Turkey hates the Kurds so much,” the former congresswoman stated.

She argued that some inside the U.S. policy-making apparatus are dedicated to outcomes produced by genocide and ethnic cleansing. “One need only see U.S. Palestine policy to understand this. Unfortunately, not only West Asia, but also South Asia could become a target region for such a policy from the U.S.

McKinney believes that an active Russia is necessary to balance the scales in such a way that small countries stand a chance to live.

Cynthia McKinney is an international peace and human rights activist, noted for her inconvenient truth-telling about the U.S. war machine. She was held for seven days in an Israeli prison after attempting to enter Gaza by sea and traveled to Libya during U.S. bombing and witnessed the crimes against humanity committed against that country's people. In addition to Libya, she has traveled to Cuba, Syria, Russia, Iran, Pakistan, and as she puts it: “Wherever U.S. Bombs are dropping or U.S. sanctions are biting.” She is the author or editor of three Clarity Press books: she has written one book Ain't Nothing Like Freedom and edited The Illegal War On Libya and the 2018 book, How the U.S. Creates Sh*thole Countries.
