Terrorism is Indeed Spreading

What the West doesn’t know, or might know but does not realize, is that this terrorism will spread and find its way back into Europe; the western media is already rife with reports on the dangers of these terrorists returning to Europe. The West has paid heavily for funding al-Qaeda, in its early stages. Today it is doing the same in Syria, Libya and other places, and will pay a heavy price in the heart of Europe and the United States, said H.E. President Bashar Al-Assad in an interview with the Syrian TV on April 17th, 2013.

Thus, many countries, particularly EU ones, have started to feel the heat of terrorism in their own land. The Daily Mail's recent publishing of British intelligence report about fear from al-Qaeda affiliated terrorism spread from Syria into Britain is a very strong further proof of the cancerous nature of terrorism.

According to the Daily Mail, top British government ministers have warned of the threat posed to Britain by extremists fighting in Syria. Foreign Secretary William Hague has warned a terror attack could be launched in the UK by Britons radicalised while fighting in Syria, suggesting that a 'substantial number' of British fighters had joined the battle to defeat Syrian Government, posing 'current and future risks to UK national security'.

Earlier, British  Prime Minister David Cameron disclosed that al Qaeda-linked elements in the Syrian opposition movement had attempted to acquire chemical weapons for probable use in Syria.

The British intelligence said there is now a risk that extremist elements in Syria would plot attacks on targets in the West. ‘Large numbers of radicalised individuals have been attracted to the country, including significant numbers from the UK and Europe,’ the report said.

‘They are likely to acquire expertise and experience which could significantly increase the threat posed when they return home," added the reporty, citing growing threats of attacks by ‘lone actors’, such as the stabbing of Labour MP Stephen Timms while holding a surgery in his east London constituency in 2010.

The British Intelligence report pointed out that the risks are inherently much more difficult for the security services to manage as, by their nature, lone actors are much harder to detect - something al Qaida appears determined to exploit.

So, Europe and the United States and others are going to pay the price sooner or later with the instability in this region; they do not foresee it, as H.E. President Al-Assad clarified in his March 4, 2013 interview with the Sunday Times.

Western Propaganda Misleading

Russia’s envoy to the UN, Vitaly Churkin, has refuted US accusations that Moscow is blocking UN access to Syria “to investigate any and all credible allegations,” claiming the charge is “misleading.”

Speaking from the UN headquarters in New York, Churkin urgedm according to RT, Westerns to refrain from a “propaganda storm”, citing Russia's tireless efforts as to facilitate a Syrian government request that the UN investigate the deployment of chemical weapons in a government-controlled suburb of Aleppo on March 19.

The ambassador also stressed Russia’s role in helping arrange an invitation for members of the UN chemical arms team to visit Damascus. The head of the UN investigation team to probe the alleged use of Chemical Weapons in Syria, Ake Sellstromand, and UN disarmament chief Angela Kane accepted an invitation from the Syrian government to discuss the investigation of alleged chemical attacks in Syria.

Ambassador Churkin refuted the US State Department’s claim that Russia was blocking a UN Security Council effort to allow UN access into Syria. “It’s not for the Security Council to allow access. It’s for the Syrian government to agree on that, with the United Nations Secretariat,'' stressing the need to only look into “credible allegations,” as Western states had been attempting to create “the maximum number of allegations with minimal credibility in an effort, one might think, to create maximum problems for arranging such investigations.”

Mr. Churkin noted what he deemed to be a somewhat inadequate response by several Western countries following an announcement that Russia handed over its thorough investigation of the Aleppo incident to the UN: “Even before having a chance to look at this very serious and substantive 80-page investigation analysis,” some senior Western diplomats made “remarks…repeating this naïve story they came up from the outset...that it was the government itself who was shooting but missed the target and killed its own people.”

Ambassador Churkin underscored that the Russian inquiry makes it “absolutely clear that both the projectile and the chemical [used in March 19 Aleppo incident] were produced in a way, which rules out…production by the Syrian government” and “conclusively shows” that the chemical weapons were “in fact…used by the opposition.”

Earlier, Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, underlined that the Russian inquiry into the use of chemical weapons on Syrian territory was carried out in full accordance with international standards, unlike a similar evaluation by Western countries.

Minister Lavrov underlined that the samples of the chemical weapons had been taken at the very place where they were used and were delivered by Russian experts rather than passed through third-party hands, pointing out that the evidence of the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government – which was provided by the US, Britain and France – does not provide information on where and when the samples they used for analysis were taken.

Britons oppose sending arms to Terrorists

A majority of the British public are against sending arms to the opposition forces who are waging a war- mostly by al-Qaeda affiliates- against Syrians, according to a recent poll for the Independent.

In a setback for David Cameron, 52 per cent of people say they would oppose the Government providing arms to the Syrian rebels, while 35 per cent would support the move and 13 per cent are undecided.

According to ComRes, women (54 per cent) are more likely to be against supplying arms than men (51 per cent). Liberal Democrat supporters (60 per cent) are more likely to oppose the idea than Labour voters (52 per cent) and Conservatives (50 per cent). But people intending to vote for the UK Independence Party favour supplying arms by a narrow margin of 45 to 43 per cent.

The findings will strengthen the hand of politicians who are reluctant to see Britain send weapons in case it fans the flames of the crisis in Syria. The UK pressed successfully for the European Union’s arms embargo to be lifted, and the Obama administration has pledged that the US will supply the rebels. But Mr Cameron insists no decision has been taken by his Government to send weapons. With Labour, the Liberal Democrats and at least 80 Conservative MPs opposed to the idea, it looks doubtful that he could win the support of the House of Commons.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the majority of EU countries, including Germany, were opposed to supplying arms to the Syrian opposition, because they think arming the ''rebels'' would but worsen the crisis in Syria amid concerns about its spillover to all of the Middle East. Britain and France were unfortunately able to blackmail the EU and impose a lifting of embargo on the export of arms to the terrorists- cannibals- in Syria.

Actually, only the UK and France alone among the EU 27 members stood behind such a blind arbitrary lifting, which, after all, would be but a stab- or even more Woolwich heinous slaughters- in their own courtyards.

Interestingly, according to scores of British media outlets, more than 80 Conservative MPs, in a joint letter drafted by MP Andrew Bridgen, urged Prime Minister David Cameron to hold a Commons vote before Britain sends any arms to the Syrian cannibalistic terrorists.

The Guardian, in tandem, disclosed that Ministers fear Blair 'parallels' as David Cameron pushes to arm the terrorists in Syria, amid fears that Cameron is in danger of aping Tony Blair as the prime minister pushes for the arming of Syrian terrorists.

Meantime, Sir George Young, the chief whip, has warned Cameron that he would probably lose a Commons vote on arming the terrorists. The leader of the house, Andrew Lansley, confirmed to MPs that a vote would be held if the government decided to arm the terrorists.

Further worthy statements by rational British officials, which Cameron has to heed if to make a stitch in time as to save nine, are those made by the former shadow defence minister Dr Julian Lewis., who underscored that any British intervention would be ''absolutely against our strategic and security interests."

Anyway, would/could Mr. Cameron consider-or not- the British National Party leader, Nick Griffin's recent statements that "the Syrian opposition movement is dominated by Islamist jihadis committing terrorist acts" .

CIA-Al-Qaeda Links

A former member of al-Qaeda terrorist organization, Sheikh Nabil Naiim, has recently made the allegation that the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) is directly linked to the Al-Qaeda jihadists and terrorists on Syrian soil.

According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency, Naiim has recently made the allegation that the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) is directly linked to the Al-Qaeda jihadists and terrorists on Syrian soil, thus, the CIA link to al-Qaeda was again confirmed by a former member of the terrorist organization after even Hillary Clinton has some time ago confirmed that the U.S. administration had created the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda years ago.

Actually, the  former  US Secretary of State, Mrs. Clinton,  did call on the extremists and terrorists in Syria as not to lay down their arms and as not to accept dialogue offers. Ironically, terrorism, according to  the US yearly congress report, is defined as the "premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against non-combatant targets by sub-national groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience," Thus, by all accounts, the ongoing in Syria is but the ugliest forms of terrorism against the Syrians. Accordingly, the USA should be reminded of Mrs. Clinton's statements before the 2-day US  House of Appropriations Committee on April 24-25, 2009: ''let`s remember here… the people we are fighting today we funded them twenty years ago…and great, let them come from Saudi Arabia and other countries, importing their Wahabi brand of Islam.''

The revelation by Naiim is just another confirmation of the dirty US involvement in the ongoing crisis in Syria, mainly caused by foreign interference in the Syrian affairs, and as has also been reported by different western media outlets.

Naiim, who made his statements in a new video clip, said that the so-called Jabhat al-Nusra, nothing else than al-Qaeda with a different name and very radical and dumb Islamists, is led by a CIA operative called Mohammed al-Jawlani. Naiim was once the leader of an Al-Qaeda training camp (Safwa) and he has been a contact of Osama bin Laden and met him several times. Naiim clearly fought alongside the al-Qaeda militants in the Sudan and he also was the famous leader of the Islamist / Jihadist movement in Egypt, which is still there, according to source agency above mentioned.

Revolution against Terrorism

The ongoing in Syria is a war where the State is defending Syria in a real revolution by the State and the people against the terrorists, underlined H.E. President Bashar Al-Assad in a recent interview with al-Thawra Daily.

This very terrorism perpetrated by al-Qaeda affiliates does characterize the crisis in Syria. This heinous terrorism is backed by some Arab countries, neighbors and westerns, which aim at eroding the factors of power and immunity  be they related to Syria's  stances, resistance, society, infrastructure, economy or services.

"Some Western countries support terrorism in Syria believing that the Takfiri terrorist groups  which have caused a security headache and worry would come to Syria and get killed, so that they would rid themselves of them- the terrorists-," said H.E. President Al-Assad.

Terrorism is indeed like cancer and should be removed as not to spread more quickly  once surgeon's scalpel hits it without removing it. The enemies of Syria have spared no efforts as to change Syria into a land for terrorism, which proliferates in a fertile land of chaos and immorality. Syria's battle against the foreign backed terrorism, including that of the Moslem Brotherhood gangs, is unabated. It is the ongoing battle of Syrians as to restore their stability, security and as to overcome their economic hardships. "We must all collaborate to combat terrorism in order to restore the economy to its former strength."

West countries, particularly the USA, didn't restrict themselves only to supporting, training and arming terrorist groups in Syria; they shifted towards discussing terrorism, adopting the American notion of differentiating between ‘good terrorists’ and ‘bad terrorists.’! Syria's 1985 call, not to mention its subsequent calls, for a clear definition of terrorism and the need to form an international alliance against it went unpaid heed for. Thus, most of the countries which blocked Syria's just demands do support and provide every 'lethal' and 'non-lethal' support to the terrorists in Syria.

Terrorism, however, wasn't able to achieve its evil goals in Syria. The Syrians have been combating it along with their hero Syrian Army steadfastly and bravely. The Syrian vivid people are soon to celebrate the victory in their 2013 real revolution against terrorism and foreign backed terrorists.
