Unfounded US Hallucination

US Secretary of State, John Kerry, paid a visit to Saudi Arabia; then the US discourse was changed to the worst! What is the secret! There is no secret. It is the Saudi insane anti-Syria stance, as well as the US reckless and paid for stance!

Suddenly, the US stances welcoming Syria's accession to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW)  and appreciation for the Syrian cooperation regarding chemicals were marred by suspicious and skeptic  US statements.

The pillar of today's no more uni-poled world, Russia, the strong advocate of people's independence and free choice, answered back the US false accusations. Russia declared that the skeptic statements by the US envoy to the UN, Samantha Power regarding chemicals in Syria were unfounded.

Alexander Lukashevich, the Russian veteran UN envoy, stated that the US comments reflected but disrespect for both the United Nations and the team from the (OPCW) responsible for implementing the Syrian disarmament plan.

"These unfounded statements about Damascus hiding information are nothing but a show of disrespect for the work being done in Syria by two esteemed and authoritative organizations -- the United Nations and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons," Lukashevich said.

Weapons experts from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) have said that  they have already verified the destruction of chemical production and mixing equipment at 22 of the 23 sites declared by Syrian authorities in October.

It is well known that Syria in 2003 had a proposal in the United Nations Security Council, to get rid of those weapons in the Middle East, to have a chemical weapons free zone in the Middle East.

Accordingly, Syria's commitment to what it pledges, praised and given credit to even by the U.S. Secretary of State himself, is indeed remarkable. Of no less remarkable is the Syrian continued commitment to fighting al-Qaeda affiliates as well as to dialogue among the Syrians as the way out from the ongoing crisis.

Syria, which since 1997 stopped the production of chemical weapons, has indeed taken its decision regarding chemical weapons and even prior to its announcement.
