Syrian Export Centers in Baghdad and Benghazi to be Opened Soon

 Damascus, (ST) - Damascus Chamber of Industry and Syrian Exporters Federation announced the opening of two Syrian export centers in Baghdad and Benghazi in the coming period to enable consumers in both countries to learn about Syrian industrial products.

 The Head of the Industry Chamber, Samer Al-Debs, said during a meeting of industrialists at the headquarters of the chamber, affirmed the importance of establishing the two centers to enable traders and consumers in Iraq and Libya to know about Syrian products and conclude agreements to supply the required quantities.

  For his part, the head of the Exporters Federation, Mohammed Al-Sawah, said that the creation of the two centers comes with the support of the government and within the direction of establishing similar centers in other countries, especially after the participation of the Syrian manufacturers through their exhibitions, they explored the opportunities of marketing their products and their ability to compete.

 The center, which will be opened in the first half of next August in the city of Baghdad, is 4,000 square meters and will be dedicated to the wholesale of textile and food products, as well as a warehouse to store the goods of participants free of charge and providing support for the shipment of the first shipments.

 Mr. Al-Sawah pointed out that the Federation seeks to cooperate with the Chamber to open another center for Syrian products in thecity of Benghazi, calling on industrialists wishing to participate in this center or Baghdad Center to communicate with the Chamber to know procedures of setting up this center and booking the spaces.
