Czech PM: Project to Build a Center for Orphans in Syria Ready for Implementation

 PRAGUE, (ST)- Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babis has announced that the project of building a center for orphans in Syria has become ready for implementation in cooperation with the Syrian government.

In a statement he made on Wednesday during a ceremony held at the Czech Red Cross Headquarters in Prague marking the organization's 100th foundation anniversary, Babis said "the Czech Republic got the land on which the center will be built. It is near Damascus and now we are waiting for the logistic and technical data of the new building."

Russian coordination Center eliminates terrorist group that launched rocket attacks on Hmeimim base

Lattakia - Russian coordination Center announced on Wednesday it foiled terrorist missile attacks on Hmeimim base coming from the de-escalation zone in Idleb, SANA reported.

Head of the center, Major General Viktor Kupchishin said in a press statement that the terrorists launched 12 missiles from the de-escalation zone of Idleb, adding that all the missiles were downed with no causalities.

He stressed that the Russian air forces and the Syrian army artillery destroyed the sites of terrorist groups and killed the terrorists who carried out the attacks.

Army continues operations against al-Nusra terrorists in Hama and Idleb countryside

Hama/Idleb - Syrian Arab Army’s units continued operations against positions of terrorist organizations in Hama northern countryside and Idleb southern countryside in retaliation for their breaches of the de-escalation zone agreement.

SANA said that an army unit carried out artillery and rocket strikes against Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists’ positions in al-Habeit village in the southern countryside of Idleb, destroying a number of their dens, the weapons and the munitions inside them.

In the northern countryside of Hama, army units destroyed a car bomb for the terrorist groups on outskirts of Kafr Naboudeh town .

Scores of the terrorists were killed or injured, and a number of weapons and munitions for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were also destroyed.

JCI Syria Gets 6 Awards for Achieving Highest Growth Rate among All International Chambers

The Junior Chamber International ( JCI).. Syria has ranked first among all international chambers in terms of achieving highest growth rate in the year 2019, during the Africa and  Middle East Conference held recently in Mauritius Island.

"This year, the JCI..Syria, carried out 50 events and 30 training programs. It launched 21 campaigns and 15 development projects. In addition, the numbers of chamber's members reached 1000,” Mazen Hawarneh, from the JCI media office,  said in a statement to SANA correspondent.

He made it clear that during the conference, the JCI won 6 awards within 6 project categories out of 9, explaining that the honored  projects are the "On Board" by JCI..Lattakia which works to train and connect young people to employment opportunities in the maritime transportation industry.  The "Social Responsibility" project  was chosen as the best global program to activate social responsibility in  local communities, he said.
