IDLEB,(ST)_The Syrian army has repelled terrorist attacks on military posts in the south-east of Idleb and has pressed ahead with targeting terrorist groups’ hideouts in Idleb countryside.

According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), the army units repelled an attack launched by al-Nusra Front terrorists on the military posts at the axis of Sham al-Hawa town in the south-east of Idleb, killing and injuring many terrorists.

MOSCOW- The United States’ attempts to hamper Damascus’ efforts to reconstruct Syria are harmful to the country’s territorial integrity, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

The US ministry pointed out that the US embassy in Syria had said on Twitter earlier that "businesses or individuals who plan to participate in the Damascus International Trade Fair must be aware that by doing business with the sanctioned Assad regime or its associates ,they too could be subject to US sanctions." "Members of the public who have info on any businesses or individuals who plan to participate in the Aug. 28 Trade Fair in Damascus can provide such info to US authorities," the embassy said in another tweet.

"We consider the United States’ ongoing attempts to hamper the Syrian authorities’ post-crisis reconstruction efforts to be harmful to Syria’s unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity. They also run counter to the letter and spirit of the international community’s decisions on Syria, including the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2254," the Russian Foreign Ministry’s statement reads, according to Itar Tass.

6 people wounded in Hasaka blast

HASAKA, (SANA)_At least 6 people were wounded in the blast of a booby-trapped motorbike in the heart of al-Shdadi city in the south of Hasaka city.

According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), a booby-trapped motorbike parked neara Taxi station in front of the old building of the court in al-Shdadi city, located 60km south of Hasaka city, went off, wounding at least 6 persons.

Lavrov: Syrian Army Operation in Khan Sheikhoun not Violating any Agreements

MOSCOW, (ST)- Terrorists in Syria's Idleb can't be allowed to continue targeting residential neighborhoods, Syrian army positions and the Russian Hmeimim airbase, Lavrov said on Monday, stressing that  the Syrian army operation in the town of Khan Sheikhoun does not violate any agreements, including agreements between Russia and Turkey on the formation of the de-escalation zone in Idlib.

Lavrov told a news conference after talks with his Angolan counterpart Manuel Domingos Augusto that the ceasefire agreement did not apply to terrorist groups from the very beginning.

Sweida Craftsmen Enthusiastic for Participating in Damascus International Fair

SWEIDA, (ST)- Craftsmen of Syria’s Sweida province believe that their participation in the 61st Damascus International Fair would introduce and promote their products which reflect the specialty of the province.

Jinan Kamal Eddin told the Syrian News Agency SANA that her participation in the last two fairs, which included some handicrafts, artistic works and cloth recycling, was a new start for her work and a further motive to excel, particularly because many visitors contacted her to buy a variety of her works.

On his part, Nayef Sneih, who is taking part for the second time in the fair, said he aims to introduce and open new markets for the province’s food industries like the manufacturing of grape and apple molasses and juice. He stressed that Damascus International Fair is an opportunity to promote Syrian products in both local and foreign markets.
