Foreign ministers of Syria and Iraq discuss situation in Syria, cooperation to maintain regional security
Foreign and Expatriates Minister Bassam Sabbagh on Friday met with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein in the Iraqi capital.
The meeting dealt with the latest developments in Syria and strategies to strengthen joint cooperation between the two countries.
The two foreign ministers stressed the importance of working in a coordinated manner to ensure regional security in the face of current challenges.
Sabbagh affirmed that the Current developments posed a serious threat to the security of the region as a whole.
For his part minister Hussein said that his country is following the developments in Syria with great interest in the light of their direct impact on the region’s security and stability.
